How we operate
We build practical tools: fast, usable, compliance-focused.
We expect fair use: no abuse, no illegal use, no attempts to break security.
We are direct about risk: software helps decision-making; it does not replace all professional judgment.
1) Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of Pest Intel services, websites, and related support. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2) Business use
Pest Intel is designed for business/commercial use. You confirm that you have authority to bind your organisation to these Terms.
3) Accounts and access
- You are responsible for account credentials and access control in your organisation.
- You must keep login details secure and notify us of suspected unauthorised access.
- We may suspend access to protect service integrity or investigate misuse.
4) Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
- Paid plans are billed as stated at checkout and/or order form.
- Where applicable, subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly agreed.
- Late/non-payment may result in restricted or suspended access.
5) Service scope
Pest Intel provides digital monitoring, logging, workflow, and reporting tools. Service features may evolve over time.
Unless expressly stated in writing, Pest Intel does not itself perform on-site pest treatment services.
6) Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate site and operational data
- Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Review outputs and apply professional judgment before acting
- Maintain appropriate internal safety/compliance procedures
7) Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service for unlawful or harmful activity
- Attempt unauthorised access, reverse engineering, or security bypass
- Upload malware or malicious content
- Interfere with platform availability or other customers’ use
8) Data and ownership
- You retain ownership of your uploaded/customer data.
- You grant us rights to process that data only to deliver, secure, and improve the service.
- We may use anonymised/aggregated data for analytics and product improvement.
9) Confidentiality
Each party will protect confidential information disclosed by the other party and use it only for the purposes of the service relationship.
10) Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, upgrades, or third-party outages can affect uptime.
11) Warranties and disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that outputs are error-free or suitable for every operational decision without human review.
12) Liability limits
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
- Our aggregate liability for claims related to the service is limited to fees paid by you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13) Term and termination
- These Terms continue while you use the service.
- Either party may terminate for material breach not remedied within a reasonable cure period.
- We may suspend/terminate for non-payment, misuse, or legal/regulatory reasons.
14) Changes to service or terms
We may update features, pricing, or Terms. Material changes will be communicated via website and/or account email.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
